Perfect for solo travelers seeking comfort
The staff treated me like family, even serving me a delicious homemade curry late at night, despite the kitchen being closed. The breakfast was top-notch too, with fresh coffee and toast that hit the spot. I left feeling ready to take on the day.
It wasn't cheap, but still worth every penny.

The room was immaculate and well-maintained, which made for a comfortable stay. The staff did manage to provide helpful information about local attractions despite the overall service issues.

Lovely spot in Rhayader!
We had a family room that was spacious and comfy. The staff were super friendly and the breakfast was really nice, lots to choose from. We didn’t try lunch or dinner, but the bar looked inviting. Only thing was the WiFi could be a bit slow during peak times, but overall, we enjoyed our stay!

We had a wonderful time at this lovely spot with my grandkids! The kids loved the spacious family room, and we enjoyed tasty meals in the cozy restaurant. The hotel was perfectly situated for exploring the beautiful Elan Valley.
My kids wished there were more kid-friendly activities available.

Exceptional Stay with Fantastic Dining Experience!
Our one-night stay exceeded expectations. The staff's warm welcome made us feel at home. Dinner was a highlight, with my steak cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. Don't miss the breakfast. just ensure you arrive early! Free parking is a bit tricky with larger vehicles, so plan accordingly.

Great place for cyclists
We stayed for a night and the staff was super welcoming. The room was clean and comfy, perfect after a long day of cycling. Dinner was surprisingly good—had the chicken pie and it was delish! Only downside was the bathroom shower was noisy, but that didn’t ruin the stay. good experience!

missingWrote a review on Jun 16cooked breakfasttea facilitiescramped bathroom
The cooked breakfast delivered some satisfaction, providing a decent start to the day with no complaints. Tea-making facilities in the room offered a nice touch, giving a little comfort in a compact space.
The dining options were limited, particularly on Monday, when the restaurant was closed and no bar snacks were available. My room had a noticeable squeak with every move, which didn’t help with getting a restful night. The bathroom lacked certain practical elements, like a shelf for toiletries, and the cramped en-suite felt a bit too cozy for comfort.

The stay was enjoyable, especially after a long day exploring the scenic Elan Valley. The friendly staff made us feel welcomed, and the evening meal exceeded expectations with its hearty pub grub. Although the room was clean and well-presented, the beds could use better mattresses for added comfort. the atmosphere and local charm made it a memorable experience.

Compact room furnished efficiently for solo travelers. The bar atmosphere buzzed with lively energy, making it an ideal spot for evening relaxation.
Lane to the parking lot needs some serious pothole attention, can be jarring. Room size might feel cramped if you’re used to more space, and bed dimensions felt a touch on the small side-didn’t quite accommodate my height, leaving my feet dangling. Breakfast wraps up a bit early for a Sunday, and if busy, parking could require a bit of a walk.
